What a leu buys, read off the menus

What is read, and where

Nine brands, read city by city off one delivery platform. The ranking mixes them on purpose, because what a leu buys does not care whose sign is over the door. This is where a brand answers for itself, and where the reading happens.

The chains

"On sale" is what is priced at a restaurant we read; "ranked" is how much of that carries the figures a value ranking needs. Both are counted after each read rather than while this page is drawn, last ~3 hours ago. The best value is the cheapest calories on that chain's menu at or above the price floor the ranking opens with, which keeps a sauce from standing in for a meal.

The cities

Menus are read city by city, and a branch's price belongs to the city it is in. These are the ones a restaurant has actually been found in.

A restaurant is held as a city and the platform's delivery-address id, not as a street. So this is where the reading happens, drawn to scale from the points the platform is asked from. The number in a mark is how many restaurants are read there, and a mark names its city when you point at it. Delivery to your own address is not modelled: the platform decides what is on offer from the point it is given. Border from Natural Earth, 1:110m.

What is on sale and what is ranked in a city are counted after each read, like the figures above, last ~3 hours ago. Everything else here is as it stands.

What you avoid

Pages that list food leave out what a chain declares to contain these. What nobody has declared stays, marked as not known. Kept in a cookie on this device and nowhere else. It repeats what the chains publish, and a restaurant can still tell you more.
